Hyatt is the third-largest hotel chain in the world. And while it may not have the biggest footprint in terms of properties compared to the likes of Hilton and Marriott, it does have 34 brands covering six continents.
TPG staffers love the World of Hyatt loyalty program, which arguably offers the best value redemptions out of any hotel chain, and the program’s points are worth the most out of any hotel loyalty program based on TPG’s June 2025 valuations.
It’s also one of the few hotel loyalty programs that still utilize a fixed price award chart, meaning you can get consistent value when redeeming points year over year.
World of Hyatt has a suite of cobranded cards issued by Chase (one personal and one business) that frequently top our list of the best hotel credit cards.
Here are details about the Chase World of Hyatt credit card welcome bonuses over time, including the best-ever welcome offers and when it’s best to submit an application.
It’s important to note that we will only discuss publicly available welcome offers, and you might receive targeted offers with more bonus points or free nights.

Application restrictions
Before applying for World of Hyatt credit cards, you must ensure you are under the infamous Chase 5/24 rule. If you’re not, you won’t be eligible to be approved for these cards.
The 5/24 rule is a widely known, unpublished rule that means you cannot have opened five or more personal credit cards across all banks in the past 24 months.
Additionally, to be eligible for the welcome bonus, you can’t have received a welcome offer in the past 24 months if you previously held either of these cards.
It’s also important to note that you can hold both the personal and business versions of the World of Hyatt cards.
