Wolfsburg vs Leipzig: Simons goals light up away win
Lois Openda took his tally to 33 goals and 12 assists in 62 Bundesliga appearances for Leipzig by drilling in the 11th-minute opener at the Volkswagen Arena shortly before team-mate Benjamin Sesko had a goal disallowed for offside.
Bence Dardai hit a post for Wolfsburg before Xavi Simons struck the first of his two goals in the 26th minute, netting again from 25 yards four minutes after the break.

Jakub Kaminski had hit the crossbar for the hosts before the break, and Kilian Fischer replied with a long-range beauty in the 58th minute, followed by Andreas Skov Olsen’s first-time finish 17 minutes later as Wolfsburg threatened a comeback.
Leipzig moved fourth after their 3-2 victory, level on points with third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt and two above fifth-placed Mainz, both of whom have a game more to play.
Wolfsburg remain 12th after their fourth consecutive defeat, six points from the top six and five ahead of 13th-placed Union Berlin.

Valencia vs Sevilla: Guerra goal keeps Los Ches flying
Javi Guerra hooked in the winner from a tight angle during first-half added time as Valencia followed up their 2-1 win at Real Madrid last Saturday by securing a third consecutive victory and fourth on their current six-match unbeaten run.

Valencia moved above Sevilla by a point and are nine above the relegation zone, with their recent form only bettered by Barcelona and Real Betis.

Udinese vs Milan: Rossoneri run riot
Milan’s encounter at the Stadio Friuli made a promising start when Tijjani Reijnders had a one-on-one chance almost immediately from a route-one ball, only for goalkeeper Maduka Okoye to deny the Netherlands midfielder.
Visiting forward Rafael Leao made the breakthrough in the 42nd minute from the edge of the penalty area before Strahinja Pavlovic headed in Christian Pulisic’s corner shortly before half-time.
Ten minutes into the second half, a worrying collision between Mike Maignan and Alex Jimenez resulted in Milan’s goalkeeper being taken to hospital for checks and his team-mate being substituted.

There was a happier end to the game for Sergio Conceicao’s team when Theo Hernandez smashed in their 74th-minute third and Reijnders tapped in his 10th goal of the season with nine minutes remaining to complete a 4-0 win.
Milan are four points behind sixth-placed Lazio in ninth, with Udinese 11th and destined for a midtable finish after a fourth consecutive defeat.
