Princess Lilibet’s Red Hair Seen in Video Shared by Meghan Markle with Prince Harry

Princess Lilibet‘s red hair made an appearance in her mom’s latest social media post.

On Saturday, April 12, Meghan Markle shared a post on her Instagram Stories, in which she and her 3-year-old daughter could be seen trying a sweet treat given to them by Prince Harry following his recent trip to the Ukraine.

In the short clip, Lilibet makes a rare appearance, reaching out her arms while wearing white pajamas with red and green flower motifs.

Another pair of small arms — possibly belonging to Prince Archie — can be seen off to the side, holding a piece of cake.

“A special gift ‘papa brought back from Ukraine,’ ” Meghan, 43, wrote over the video.

Meghan’s sweet video was shared days after the Duke of Sussex, 40, traveled to the Ukrainian city of Lviv to meet with war victims on Thursday, April 10. Harry previously attended a court hearing in London about his U.K. security on April 8.

Prince Harry, who spent 10 years in the British Army, met with four veterans from the Invictus Games Foundation, the charity behind the Invictus Games, which he founded in 2014 for wounded and sick service personnel and veterans.

He also got to see first-hand the support and rehabilitation services offered at the Superhumans Center — where patients receive free prosthetics, surgery and psychological support.

Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, 5, have made rare appearances on Meghan’s Instagram account in recent weeks.

In one photo shared on March 24, the Duchess of Sussex held her daughter, as Archie could be seen hugging his mom.

Both of Harry and Meghan’s children’s red tresses were featured. Prince Harry said the trait comes from his late mother Princess Diana‘s side of the family. 

While appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in January 2023, Prince Harry was asked if he sees any family members in his kids, to which he responded, “Definitely my mum. The ginger gene is a strong one.”

“The Spencer gene is very, very strong,” he continued, referring to his maternal side of the family. “I actually really, genuinely thought at the beginning of my relationship [with Meghan] that should this go the distance and we have kids that there’s no way the ginger gene will stand up to my wife’s genes, but I was wrong. Go gingers!”
