Paige DeSorbo Says Ex Craig Conover Was ‘Entitled Brat’ at Kyle Cooke’s Wedding

Paige DeSorbo is revealing why her ex Craig Conover allegedly got the boot from Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula.

On the second part of the Summer House reunion on June 4, the Giggly Squad host, 32, noted that Conover, with whom she confirmed her split from in December,  was “asked not to return to the backyard” during the wedding festivities at Batula’s parents’ house in 2021.

DeSorbo explained that she encouraged Conover, 36, to make amends the next morning, saying, “The next morning I woke up and I was like, ‘You have to apologize to Mr. and Mrs. Batula.’ And he absolutely refused. I was mortified.”

The Bravo star — who announced she is leaving Summer House on June 5 — claimed that her ex was “belligerently drunk,” alleging, “He was causing a scene. He was kicking tables. He was yelling at people. He was going inside the house,” even after Batula had requested that guests stay outside.

“He acted like an entitled brat at the wedding and he was an embarrassment,” she claimed.

DeSorbo came clean about the situation after years of seemingly protecting her ex. She explained that this was not the only time she had to lie for him, saying, “Honestly, I’m so uncomfortable because I’ve never had to lie in my entire life until I started dating him and it was more like, I had to be like, ‘Oh, he’s not that drunk.’ Or, ‘Oh, we just wanted to go home early.’ ” 

“It’s little situations that he would put me in that I would have to defuse,” she added.
“It’s uncomfortable and it gets very overwhelming and tiring.”

DeSorbo previously accused costar Lindsay Hubbard of being behind the rumors about Conover’s antics at the wedding.

“Oh, you didn’t write an article about Amanda’s wedding as ‘Anonymous sources?'” DeSorbo asked Hubbard during an episode of Summer House in 2024. “You guys were saying that Craig got kicked out of Kyle and Amanda’s wedding, which did not happen. But, I know that it was you.”

“I didn’t,” she replied before DeSorbo added, “You did.”

Danielle Olivera later revealed she was behind the “leak” of the story because it was “juicy as f—.”

In June 2024, Conover said the rumors of him being booted from the festivities were “made up.”

“It didn’t happen, which kind of hurt my feelings,” he told Us Weekly at the time while explaining that he did drink “too much” at the wedding. “When we were already leaving, I basically was [told] like, ‘You know what? I don’t think you need to come back in here.’”

“It was a filmed event. I think if I was kicked out, we would’ve seen it on TV,” he added. “But, to be fair, I was asked to not come back in, in case I wanted to decide to come back in.”
