OnePlus is allegedly going to launch the Nord 5 and Nord CE5 on July 8, according to a new rumor from a tipster over on X. The Nord 5 will unsurprisingly be the successor to the Nord 4, which itself was unveiled in mid-July last year. The Nord CE4, the CE5’s predecessor, came out in April of 2024.
According to one past leak, the Nord 5 will have a flat OLED screen with “1.5K” resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e SoC, and will sport a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 16 MP selfie camera, and a massive 7,000 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.

The Nord 5 will allegedly have a glass back and a plastic frame, dual speakers, and an IR blaster. The Nord CE5, on the other hand, will apparently come with a 6.7-inch flat OLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 16 MP selfie camera, and a 7,100 mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging.
