Before her exit and during the premiere episode, Escobar decided to couple up with Ace Greene. But Greene was already paired up with Chelley Bissainthe, and fans found that her decision was immediately stepping on the toes of the other women.
Escobar, Greene and Bissainthe were among the first 10 islanders at the Fiji villa. They were joined by Jeremiah Brown, Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Taylor Williams, Austin Shepard, Belle-A Walker, Huda Mustafa and Olandria Carthen.
The Wednesday announcement follows the delayed Tuesday, June 3 premiere.
The seventh season was set to drop at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT, but a minute after its premiere time, Peacock announced there would be a slight delay. Then, nearly 45 minutes after the initial air time, the streamer announced the show was airing.
