Michelle Trachtenberg will always be Kim Cattrall’s Ice Princess.
Following the Gossip Girl actress’ death in New York City at age 39, many of her former costars and friends have expressed their grief, including her Ice Princess costar.
The Sex and the City star, who played ice skating coach Tina Harwood to Michelle’s Casey Carlyle in the 2005 movie, shared a photo of them together on set. Alongside a red heartbreak emoji, Kim captioned the photo, “Rest in peace sweet Michelle.”
On Feb. 26, the NYPD confirmed to E! News that Michelle had been pronounced dead at her New York City residence after authorities responded to a call involving a person who was “unconscious and unresponsive.” While an investigation is ongoing and an autopsy would formally determine her cause of death, the NYPD added that “criminality is not suspected.”
And as tributes from fans have poured in, Michelle’s colleagues from across her three-decade acting career have spoken out about her legacy on and off the screen.
