Kelvin Banks Jr.’s Son Throws Up During NFL Draft

Kelvin Banks Jr.’s newborn son Khalil couldn’t keep his excitement in during his dad’s big moment.

All eyes were on the University of Austin Texas offensive tackle, who was surrounded by his family, including fiancée Demetria Bolden and other loved ones in his home, when he was selected by the New Orleans Saints during the 2025 NFL Draft on April 24.

After answering the photo and hearing the news directly from Saints head coach Kellen Moore, the 21-year-old proudly announced to his room full of supporters, “We’re going to New Orleans, baby.”

The camera was still in the room moments later when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced Kelvin’s name and team on live TV. Amid the excitement—which saw Kelvin hugging his family and fiancée, who bounced up and down on the couch next to him with Khalil in her arms—the camera captured little Khalil spitting up what looked like milk, before panning back to his father, who cried as he held a Saints hat over his face.
