Match preview for Inter Miami v Porto
Inter Miami and Porto meet at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Thursday in a crucial Group A clash in the Club World Cup.
Both sides are looking to secure their first victory and take a step toward the knockout stages, but it is still anyone’s game to claim.
The group remains wide open after the opening round of fixtures ended in stalemates. Inter Miami played out a 0-0 draw with Al Ahly, while Porto also shared the spoils in a goalless encounter against Palmeiras.
Inter Miami enter this match still in search of their first goal in the tournament but take some comfort from a recent 2-1 win at this very stadium against Atlanta United in MLS.
Porto, meanwhile, are seeking a response after ending last season without any silverware.

Team news for Inter Miami v Porto
Inter Miami could be missing several key players once again. Jordi Alba, Gonzalo Lujan, Yannick Bright, and David Martinez were all sidelined for the draw against Al Ahly.
If they’re not fit, the defensive unit will likely remain unchanged, with Noah Allen covering at left-back and Tomas Aviles partnering Maximiliano Falcon in central defence.
Despite being kept quiet in the opener, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez – who have combined for 23 goals so far this year – will continue to lead the line as Inter Miami.
Porto are waiting on the fitness of first-choice goalkeeper Diogo Costa, who is recovering from a thigh issue. Claudio Ramos impressed as his replacement against Palmeiras, and he stands ready to deputise again if required.
Gabri Veiga made his full debut last time out following his €15million move from Al Ahli, and the Spaniard is likely to retain his spot alongside Alan Varela in midfield.
