Molly Yeh from the Food Network’s “Girl Meets Farm” has teamed up with Rebel Girls to release a book filled with sweet treat recipes.

The Rebel Girls Make Dessert book written for children includes fun recipes for treats like Brown Butter Oatmeal Cookies, Strawberry Shortcakes, Guyanese Pine Tarts and more. It’s the perfect way to kick off summer and get young chefs excited about creating in the kitchen.

The book includes over 80 recipes and is designed for any child who is anywhere between “a seasoned chef or first-time cook,” a description for the recipe book reads.

The book also includes recipes from widely recognized chefs like Joanne Chang who is the co-owner of Flour Bakery + Café, Nadiya Hussain from Netflix’s “Nadiya’s Time to Eat,” Deb Perelman from the Food Network’s “Smitten Kitchen” and others. 

Each of the women share their take on fan favorites like oreos, pear and cardamom cake, raspberry crumb bars and orange, white chocolate no-churn ice cream and more.

“Alongside recipes are sidebars that create a richer learning experience, from variations on recipes to facts about influential women in history,” the book reads. The recipes aim to “empower Rebel Girls everywhere to try new techniques and find confidence in learning how to make something delicious all on their own.”

The recipes are all kid friendly and include instruction sidebars that guide them throughout the process with helpful step-by-step photos. 

“It’s important to learn how to follow recipes, but it’s also important to practice flexing your creativity and bake up something that’s unique to you and your tastebud,” Yeh tells PEOPLE. “I also wanted to show that there are really fun careers that involve cooking but are outside of working in a restaurant kitchen, such as being a recipe developer. It’s never too soon to start developing your own recipes!”

“Rebel Girls Make Dessert will build any young person’s skills and confidence in and out of the kitchen,” the description reads.

Rebel Girls is a multi-platform brand that seeks to empower and inspire young girls through created content, products and experiences to “equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive.”
