Blake Lively stepped out at Chanel’s Tribeca Artists Dinner tonight, hours after Justin Baldoni‘s countersuit against her and other parties was dismissed.
The actress was all smiles as she posed on the carpet while wearing a white dress with floral embellishments and matching heels. She wore her hair down and statement earrings.
Lively’s appearance at the Monday, June 9, event comes hours after Judge Lewis J. Liman granted a motion to dismiss the $400 million countersuit filed by Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties in January against Lively, Ryan Reynolds, their publicist Leslie Sloane and Sloane’s PR firm Vision PR, Inc., alleging extortion and defamation.

His other claims included false light invasion of privacy, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, intentional interference with contractual relations, intentional interference with prospective economic advantage, and negligent interference with prospective economic advantage.
The lawsuit was filed in response to Lively’s lawsuit in December, in which she sued Baldoni and his production company, among others, for sexual harassment, followed by a retaliatory public smear campaign to “destroy” her reputation.
After The New York Times ran an investigative story looking into Lively’s claims, Baldoni filed a $250 million lawsuit against the outlet, alleging libel, which The New York Times denied.
The $250 million defamation lawsuit against the Times was also dismissed by the judge on Monday.
It was noted, however, by the judge that Baldoni’s legal team can still amend the claims for breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract if they choose to. Their deadline would be June 23.

Marvel’s motion to be removed from the ongoing legal battle between Lively and Baldoni, over Reynolds’ Nicepool character, was also granted on the same day.
In a statement obtained by PEOPLE, Lively’s attorneys Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb said, “Today’s opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit, including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane and The New York Times.”
“As we have said from day one, this ‘$400 million’ lawsuit was a sham, and the Court saw right through it,” the statement.
“We look forward to the next round, which is seeking attorneys’ fees, treble damages and punitive damages against Baldoni, [Steve] Sarowitz, [Melissa] Nathan and the other Wayfarer Parties who perpetrated this abusive litigation,” the statement continued.

Lively also spoke out on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Like so many others, I’ve felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us.”
“While the suit against me was defeated, so many don’t have the resources to fight back,” she added, noting that she is now “more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman’s right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story.”

“With love and gratitude for the many who stood by me, many of you I know. Many of you I don’t. But I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you,” she wrote, adding a list of organizations for relevant resources and information.
