Barcelona coach Hansi Flick says his side “can dream” of ending a 10-year wait for the Champions League but are set for a tough task against Borussia Dortmund in the quarter finals.
Barca last won the trophy against Juventus in 2015 and even though they have been impressive in the tournament this season will have to shine again to beat last year’s finalists.
The sides meet in Barcelona on Wednesday with former Bayern Munich boss Flick ready for the test.
He said: “I’m not interested in statistics or the past. I live in the here and now. What counts is the here and now.
“It’s the biggest European tournament, and we want to achieve the greatest success possible.

“We can dream, but the players and coaches must keep their feet on the ground. We have to look at what we’ve achieved, based on hard work, and it shouldn’t be the end.
“We have to give everything we have to keep going. We want to remain unbeaten this year, but we have to perform at our best against a very strong opponent.”
Barcelona’s last defeat came at the hands of Atletico Madrid before Christmas and they won seven games in a row before a 1-1 draw with Real Betis last weekend.
Flick says they will go into the tie in confident mood.
“I think we’ve worked well in the Champions League, home and away,” he said.
“We know how to win an away game, how to keep going… I have full confidence in the team. They look good.
“We’ve improved in many ways. We’re responding well in our matches. We’re ready for this tie.”
