Patrick Schwarzenneger Shares the ‘White Lotus’ Wrap Gift He Gave His Costars

Patrick Schwarzenegger revealed the one-of-a-kind wrap gift he gave to all of his The White Lotus costars.

The actor, 31, shared with InStyle that he had custom t-shirts made featuring caricature drawings of the entire season three cast. In the video, Schwarzenegger points out his costars, and even the series creator and director. “And there’s Mike White in the middle with his director’s chair, with his big microphone,” he said.

The custom t-shirt also featured palm trees, a monkey and the beach — regular images seen throughout the series.

Schwarzenegger played Southern frat boy flirt-turned-financier Saxon Ratliff in season 3 of the Emmy-winning show. His character faced a myriad of complex conflicts, from reconciling with his privilege to an extremely uncomfortable encounter with his younger on-screen brother, played by Sam Nivola.

The third season of HBO’s The White Lotus saw its usual group of peculiar guests off to the fictional hotel chain’s resort in Thailand. This season paid homage to the local culture of Thailand, and examined the role that wealthy Western patrons play in the commercialization of Buddhism and other Eastern spiritual beliefs.

The actor has previously spoken to his newfound friendships with his costars, built over the course of several months of shooting in Thailand. Particularly, he reflected on his friendship with Aimee Lou Wood, who played Chelsea in season 3. Their characters struck up an unlikely friendship.

Schwarzenegger told Deadline, “The whole thing was kind of a shocking ending to me. I mean, I literally cried. During the end of it, I just looked over at Aimee [Lou Wood], and I just grabbed her hand. I think, partly because she dies, and then our relationship, just like in real life … it also was kind of just the closure of this chapter of my life.”

In an exclusive with PEOPLE, Schwarzenegger also elaborated on his bond with his TV family. The eccentric Carolina Ratliffs were played by Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Sarah Catherine Hook and Sam Nivola.

“We hung out as a family so much that Mike [White] came to us three weeks in, and he was like, ‘You guys can chill out with the family thing,’ ” he says of the show’s creator, writer and director.

The actor will soon star in Billy Knight, opposite Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton, Al Pacino, Diana Silvers, and more. The film is in post-production, per IMDB.
