My Favorite Quince Bag Looks Just Like a Designer Style

Bottega Veneta’s luxury fashion has been spotted on celebs including Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, and Demi Moore. And while I personally had my eyes on the brand’s Andiamo Intrecciato Tote, I just couldn’t justify spending $5,500 on a bag — even if it’s crafted from Italian-made leather. 

My budgeting approach paid off. I found a nearly identical version of the luxe design, but for a fraction of the cost. Quince’s $150 Handwoven Satchel is similarly made from high-quality Italian leather and features intricate textured detailing.

I was sold on the designer lookalike bag before I even saw it in real life, and was even more impressed after receiving the style. The leather is buttery soft and carefully handwoven with detailed stitching that looks high-end, while the size makes it a versatile choice. The bag is compact, so it’s easy to carry around, but it still holds all of my belongings like a phone, wallet, keys, extra cosmetics, and a small book. 

The bag’s practical design has an interior center pocket divider with a zipper closure and one interior slip pocket to organize my items while keeping them safe. It also includes a convertible strap, so I can wear it as a shoulder bag or crossbody depending on the occasion. 

The silhouette, handwoven design, and straps all boast a striking resemblance to the Bottega Veneta version. The only difference I can even spot is the absent gold hardware on the Quince model, not that I mind. The balance of quality and practicality have quickly made it a staple in my own closet. I reach for the satchel nearly every day, whether I’m running errands or heading to dinner. 

Shoppers praised the “outstanding” quality and said it has “plenty of room for everything.” One customer commented that “the leather and workmanship is just lovely” and “gives the bag a very expensive chic look.” They added that it’s their “dream size” for a bag, noting that the three compartments help them to “feel more organized.” Others called it a “must buy.”
