The biggest names in theater (Nicole Scherzinger! Sadie Sink! Audra McDonald! George Clooney!) stepped out in head-turning style at the the 2025 Tony Awards on June 8 at Radio City Musical Hall in New York City.

Kicking things off on a fashion high note, Cynthia Erivo, the host of this year’s ceremony. She’s a Tony, Emmy and Grammy winner, as well as a three-time Oscar nominee — most recently for her role in the film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Wicked. She also is a style and beauty tastemaker, and delivered another pitch-perfect manicure on tonight’s red carpet.

Recognizing excellence in live Broadway performance, the Tony Award is theater’s highest honor. Presented annually by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, the trophy is the “T” in the prestigious quadfecta of the entertainment industry’s achievements known as “EGOT,” sitting alongside the Emmy Awards (television), Grammy Awards (music) and Oscars (film).

Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger was radiant in a strapless red sequin gown befitting a stage superstar. She teamed the look with a diamond drop necklace, matching red lip and slicked-back hairstyle. Scherzinger is a first-time Tony Award nominee after making her Broadway debut as Norma Desmond in the revival of Sunset Blvd.

Cole Escola

Tony nominee Cole Escola took inspiration from a Broadway great for their 2025 red carpet look.

The 38-year-old actor stepped out in an incredible silver Wiederhoeft gown inspired by the dress that Bernadette Peters wore at the 1999 Tonys to accept her best actress win for Annie Get Your Gun.

Cole is nominated for two awards — Best Play for writing Oh, Mary! and Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for starring as Mary Todd Lincoln. (They’re already dressed like a winner!)

Cynthia Erivo skipped the Elphaba Wicked cosplay on the red carpet for his two-piece Schiaparelli look featuring an embroidered off-the-shoulder jacket and skirt. (She did not skip out on her epic manicure.)

Amal and George Clooney

George Clooney returned to his silver fox status dressed in a dapper tux alongside wife Amal who commanded the carpet in a white gown dripping in pearls. The actor is nominated for his role in Good Night, and Good Luck – but he already won best dressed couple thanks to his wife.

Audra McDonald

The six-time Tony winner served some high-fashion drama in a sculptural black sequin gown with a purple train that commanded the red carpet. She teamed the look with a gorgeous long braid.

Sadie Sink

Sadie Sink has conquered the screen and stage at just 23. The actress received her first Tony nomination for her role as high schooler Shelby Holcomb in John Proctor Is the Villain. She definitely stepped out in style to celebrate in a silver plunging slip gown with bow detailing. She accessorized the look with a red lip, updo and diamond earrings.

Brooke Shields had a red hot monochromatic moment in her asymmetrical scarlet minidress teamed with matching pumps and a Radio City Music hall clutch that she told PEOPLE on the red carpet was a gift from her husband, Chris Henchy.

Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr., best known for his breakout role as the original Aaron Burr in Hamilton, brought a high-fashion menswear moment to the red carpet in this striped three-piece design paired with a white turtleneck.

Another Hamilton alum brought some major style and star power to the carpet! Arian DeBose went for a slinky white slip gown decked out with layers of diamond necklaces.

Succession star Sarah Snook might be taking home her first Tony for her critically acclaimed role in the adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray. She stepped out for her exciting moment in second-skin ivory gown and piles of Chopard jewels.

The theater vet, best known for her role as Angelica Schuyler in the original Broadway production of Hamilton, showed some leg in a high-slit black gown covered in shiny rectangular paillettes. She added some neck-grazing drop earrings and black crystal pumps for additional sparkle.

It’s a big night for Jennifer Simard, who is nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her performance as Helen Sharp in Death Becomes Her. And she didn’t skimp out on the glam in a strapless nude mermaid gown covered in crystal beading. She added more sparkle with a mega-carat diamond necklace.

Nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her role in Death Becomes Her, Megan Hilty glittered across the red carpet in a champagne Pamella Roland tulle gown, featuring feathers cascading down the skirt, crystal embroidery and intricate hand beadwork. She teamed the design with a sparkly clutch, statement earrings and rings and a bold red lip for a pop of color.
