John Corbett Is Nearly Unrecognizable at the ‘And Just Like That…’ Premiere

John Corbett is rocking a whole new look.

The 64-year-old actor arrived with his wife, Bo Derek, at the New York City premiere of the upcoming season of And Just Like That… on Wednesday, May 21. 

But the My Big Fat Greek Wedding star was nearly unrecognizable when he appeared with a gray beard. Corbett has already been spotted for years with his gray and brown hair. He’s also known for his clean-shaven look, making his Wednesday appearance a new look for him.

The Sex and the City star styled his gray hair with an effortless, messy sweep-back. He donned an all black ensemble, with a black blazer, black trousers and a black Oxford shirt with an exaggerated collar that replicated the look of a popped collar. 

He also sported a pair of gradient brown aviator sunglasses and black leather boots. 

His wife also stepped out in a sleek suit for the occasion. The model wore a white jacket and black wide-leg pants, both of which included stud detailing on the seams. Her look was completed with a black lace shirt, a black leather clutch and matching pointed-toe pumps. 

Corbett and Sarah Jessica Parker were spotted on set together ahead of the HBO Max series’ return.

In photos obtained by PEOPLE, the actors, who play Aidan Shaw and Carrie Bradshaw, respectively, were seen holding hands and smiling while filming on location in New York City’s Queens borough last July.

Fans can expect to see the new season pick up after Carrie and Aidan decided to take a break in their relationship. During the season 2 finale, he previously told her he could no longer divide his time between NYC and Virginia in the aftermath of his son Wyatt’s serious accident, saying they needed to put their rekindled romance on hold for five years until his youngest son reached adulthood.

As a result, Carrie tries to navigate life without him. During the season 3 first look, Aidan sent Carrie a postcard that contained “nothing.” However, Miranda later notes that she “kinda caught a little vibe” between Carrie and her neighbor, leading Carrie to say, “It’s complicated with Aidan, but I’m trying to figure it out.”

While fans will have to remain patient to see if Carrie pursues someone aside from Aidan, Parker said in a May 2024 Today with Hoda & Jenna appearance, that the new season “has a sort of soufflé quality to me this year.”

“It just feels really lovely,” she smiled. “So there will be layers and complexities and complications as there always are — especially in Carrie’s life.”

And Just Like That… season 3 premieres on Thursday, May 29 on HBO Max.
