PSG vs Auxerre result: Champions end on high

Midtable Auxerre took a shock first-half lead at PSG before Nuno Mendes curled a sublime free-kick against the woodwork as the Champions League finalists threatened a swift equaliser.

Mali forward Lassine Sinayoko spun at speed and produced a clinical left-footed finish, rolling the ball under Gianluigi Donnarumma from just inside the box to put Auxerre on course for a third win in four away games.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia equalised in the 59th minute and scored again two minutes from time, with Marquinhos also netting in the 67th minute as PSG signed off 3-1 at home.

PSG face Inter in Munich in the Champions League final on Saturday, May 31. Kick-off is at 20:00 BST.

Ligue 1 top scorer: Dembele, Greenwood

PSG top scorer Ousmane Dembele was denied by Auxerre goalkeeper Donovan Leon in an early one-on-one and the France forward would have finished as the outright top scorer in the division had he taken that chance.

Two first-half goals by Mason Greenwood for Marseille against Rennes, however, meant the former Manchester United and England prospect finished level with Dembele on 21 league goals.

Hoffenheim vs Bayern result: Kane Bundesliga top scorer

Bayern finished their season in style with a 4-0 win at fourth-bottom Hoffenheim in club legend Thomas Muller’s final game for Die Roten.

Michael Olise, Joshua Kimmich and Serge Gnabry scored before Kane added his 26th league goal of the season four minutes from time, finishing five ahead of Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy and Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick.
